More than a year ago I mentioned Steve Wesson's attempt to rebuild Tomorrowland's long-gone Adventure Thru Inner Space in CGI.

After two years of working on it, he actually finished. That's awesome because big internet projects like this never get finished!

Anyway it's done and he's selling it on DVD for $20. That's $20 more than I'm willing to pay, so how about you buy it and invite me over to watch? Please?

edit: Also worth mentioning is Virtual Toad, a CGI construction of The Magic Kingdom's Mister Toad's Wild Ride. It's been under construction for more than six years, but the screenshots look killer!

This nfo is either very fake, or very cool.

Imagine - streaming commercial GameBoy DS games to your DS wirelessly. You may not even need to use a flash cart at all!

Probably fake, but we'll see!

Some work on logging the DS' wireless packets is actually being done by a dude named Darkain, and he's posting his findings over in this thread.

A lot of people turn their noses up at Christmas music. I am not one of those people!

Register at FaLaLaLaLa.com and you'll be able to download vinyl Christmas albums from days gone by, one per week, in the distribution style made popular by Basic Hip.

The first album gets posted on Friday, so register now to ensure access later!

And speaking of Basic Hip, you'll be able to find plenty of Christmas albums posted there in the coming weeks as well. Here's the tentative lineup.

If you can't wait 'till Friday, you can get your download on at SciFi Hi-Fi where some rare Beatles Christmas albums have already been posted.

You're going to be doing some serious http downloading in the coming weeks, so be sure to install DownThemAll, a Firefox extension that lets you download every mp3 file on a given web page with just a click or two. Huge timesaver!

As old as it may be, I'm finding that Bonanza [Tivo] is a really great show.

Lorne Greene always pissed me off on Battlestar Galactica and I'm not sure why...but on Bonanza, he's golden.

With 14 seasons of old episodes to watch, I've got to get cracking!

Did you catch the phone number on Mirage's business card during The Incredibles? People on the internet are saying it's 866-787-3743 (or 866-SUPER-HERO).

I had to redial a few times to get past the busy signals, but when I got through there was a recorded message telling me to call 800-345-1400.

It appears to be a phone sex hotline.

If that is the correct number, excellent work there, Pixar!

Pepsi Holiday Spice is a limited-edition Pepsi product.

On a $1000 bet, Brian from California agreed to drink nothing but Pepsi Holiday Spice for 45 days. He's gained 13 pounds in three days and his pee is red.

Diarrhea ahoy!

This morning Howard Stern gave away 500 Sirius boomboxes in Manhattan to anyone who showed up. And quite a few people did. When they ran out of boomboxes they gave away 20,000 vouchers for free radios.

Stern appears on Letterman tonight. Drudge and others seem to think that Sirius may have bought out his current contract with Viacom and he'll announce that tonight. We shall see.

Being a soldier on a battlefield is something I'm glad I'll never have to do.

Fallujah.US has some raw video footage of the recent assault on Fallujah. It'll give you some idea of what our troops are going through over there. It's bloodless, so don't worry about the grossout factor.

If you're in need of a white noise generator for Windows, look no further than Aire Freshener. White noise, waves crashing, thunderstorms, swampy summer nights, distant wind chimes, you name it. It's all there, and it's free. Development on Aire Freshener has been discontinued, but it's a very complete little package and it sounds phenomenal.

Electronic Arts is a horrible company to work for.

Former employees and current employees' spouses agree. Mandatory 90 hour work weeks without overtime or comp time? Are you kidding me?

EA employees have brought about a class action lawsuit against their employer. I hope they win. Video game developers work too hard to be treated like slaves.

Some video games that get released in Japan are so crazy that you'd never expect them to come out in the US. However every now and then a publisher takes a chance and does an English translation of a bizzaro title, and when they do it's often a glorious thing.

Incredible Crisis on the original PlayStation was one such game.

I've been home sick for the past two days and my life has been taken over by another crazy title from the land of the rising sun. Katamari Damacy is awesome. You should rent it, buy it, steal it, whatever. Just find a way to play it. It will make you happy.

Wow this is kind of nutty!

This morning this guy posts on his weblog about how great it would be if you could click on a specially formatted http link to remotely schedule a Tivo recording.

This afternoon Tivo unveils the feature.

That's service!

You should really get a season pass for South Park! And did you catch the episode of Reno 911 where Jones's balls are in peril? You didn't? Well just click this and you'll be all set!

And of course it goes without saying that if you haven't seen Farscape you should get yourself a season pass right away.

Huhooo!

Man, a lot of Democrats sure are upset about the election! Wow. To hear them tell it, the USA is sliding down into a crack in the Atlantic that leads straight to Hell! George Bush will eat your children and strip away every civil liberty that's left before his four years are up! Oh nos!

People need to chill out. You don't see me flipping my top saying crap like "Why was America so stupid yesterday!" and "Oh jeez, we're fucked now!" I voted for Kerry, but oh well, he lost. Life goes on. Get over it.
